Rapala X-Rap Deep XRD10

Take Rapala's X-Rap design and throw in a deep diving function and what you get is a great proven lure that can be extended for use with deep suspended fish that wouldn't normally be reachable with other crankbaits in the series. With this lure, Rapala has given the XRD10 a much bigger lip. This plunges the lure to much greater depths.

 

 

The Rapala X-Rap Deep XRD10 lure is perfect for fishing or trolling open areas that are deep. If you are fishing warmer waters or fishing during the heat of day, you will need a lure that can reach deeper waters. This lure does just that. When the sun is out and the water temperatures rise, fish tend to hit deeper waters where it is cooler. Fish this lure to hit drop-offs. You can also cast this lure away from shore and then retrieve it up the incline.

 

 

The X-Rap XRD10 swims to a water depth of 6-15' depending on your retrieve speed and how agressive you are with it. It is a suspending lure, so that allows you to retrieve it aggressively and then sit at that depth and wait for a strike.

 

 

The species of fish that this particular lure works well on is a wide assortment. You can use this lure with great effect on bass, pike, muskies, walleye, trout, and salmon.
